Did the festival move?

The Neon Desert site has moved! Our new address is 300 N Kansas and the entrance is at the intersection of Kansas Street and Texas Avenue. This new layout will provide more viewing space at our main stage and a better experience for fans throughout the festival grounds!

What is your bag policy?

NO Backpacks, large purses, or bags allowed EXCEPT for:
YES Small Clutch bags (5.5” x 4.5”)
YES Fanny Packs/Waist Packs (5.5” x 4.5”)
YES One Gallon Clear Zip-Top bag
YES Drawstring or Clear backpacks with one additional pocket

ALL BAGS AND PERSONS WILL BE SEARCHED. ANY PROHIBITED ITEM THAT IS SURRENDERED TO SECURITY AT SEARCH POINTS WILL NOT BE RETURNED. NDMF RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE THE FINAL DECISION ON ALLOWED AND PROHIBITED ITEMS WITHOUT NOTICE.

Will there be medical personnel on site?

We will have medical staff on site for the entire duration of NDMF. Upon arrival, please take note of the location of our clearly-marked medical tents should you need to stop by throughout the day. If you need medical assistance, contact the nearest security official, staff member, ambassador, or medical staff, or go to one of the on-site medical tents. If you’re not sure whether it’s an emergency or not, assume it is and get help immediately. All of our safety and medical staff are here to help you enjoy the festival and make it home safely – no judgments.

What about security?

Your health, safety and security are always our top priority. With respect to this year’s event, NDMF’s Safety Management team will continue to work closely with our local and regional law enforcement, along with public safety partners to raise our preparedness and ensure the event provides a safe, secure, and positive environment for all attendees, artists, and staff.

Should you need any assistance during your time with us, please proceed to the nearest medical tent or seek nearby uniformed event staff. All of our safety and medical staff are here to help you enjoy the festival and make it home safely – no judgments.

Will I be searched?

To ensure the safety of our NDMF family, all vehicles, persons and property are subject to search at all times. Failure to consent to a search will result in denial of entry or ejection from the event.

Upon arrival, all patrons will undergo a full airport style search, including bag searches and pat-downs. Please plan ahead for enhanced security screening by arriving early during peak hours and help do you part to expedite the entry process by reviewing our prohibited items list, packing light, and leaving your bags at home to take advantage of our express no-bag lines. If you would like to be screened by security personnel of your same gender, please let security personnel know prior to the search process.

Can I leave the festival and come back?

Festival re-entry is permitted.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes. In fact children 6 years and younger are admitted FREE if accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. There will be no children under the age of 14 allowed in without the supervision of an adult.


Can I bring my pets?

NDMF has a strict no-pet policy, with exceptions only for service animals as specified by federal and state law. Due to large-scale service animal fraud and for the safety of our patrons, staff, and other service animals, all animals which do not meet the legal standards will not be allowed into the festival grounds. All service animals must be registered at the entrance gates. Please note, dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support are not considered service animals by the ADA and will not be allowed into NDMF. For more info, visit www.ada.gov.

What time does the festival start?

Festival gates open at 3PM. This time is subject to change.

What about people with disabilities?

We want to make sure that all music lovers have access to the NDMF experience! The festival grounds are wheelchair accessible and ADA bathrooms are provided. Should you have any questions, please contact NDMFinfo@scoremoreshows.com.

Is the venue ADA accessible?

The venue is accessible and there will be a special viewing area at the main stage for those with mobility limitations. The festival is held outdoors. There could be natural terrain to travel over and if it rains it could become muddy.

Access Center/Information Booth

Our Access Center/Information Booth is located inside the festival grounds at E. Mills Ave and N. Campbell Street.

Our Access Center/Information Booth services include, but not limited to:
Answers to questions specific to the Access Program
Information relevant to our patrons with disabilities
Power outlet for recharging power mobility devices/wheelchairs
Access to a festival map that identifies the viewing area for patrons with mobility limitations (plus one companion). Please note that special access viewing areas have limited capacity and are only available on a first-come, first-served basis.

ADA Wristband Program

Visit the Access Center/Information Booth for information on our wristband program. If you have mobility impairments you can request a specially designated wristband at the Access Center/Information Booth. This wristband is to show our team that you (plus one companion) are eligible to enter the ADA viewing platform areas.

Note: The wristband does NOT guarantee a spot in these areas. These areas have a limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The wristband is non-transferable.

Patrons with Mobility Limitations


We do not provide personal care, golf cart rides, or push service. Please plan ahead and bring attendants if needed. In addition, the festival does not provide mobility devices/wheelchairs for rent or loan. Please make arrangements in advance if a mobility device is needed.

Wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and three or four-wheeled scooters are allowed for use by patrons with mobility disabilities. For safety reasons, requests to use other power-driven mobility devices will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Accessible portalets are available at the ends of each row of restrooms throughout the park.


Special Dietary Needs


Outside food and drink (except for one factory-sealed water bottles) is not allowed in the festival, but if a patron has special medical dietary restrictions, items will be allowed if accompanied by a doctor’s note. You will be asked to present your doctor’s note to security upon entry to the festival.

A patron requiring insulin is allowed to bring his or her medically necessary materials and medications provided all medicine has a prescription label with the patron’s name. Out of concern for the festival staff and volunteers who handle the trash, please dispose of your medical waste and syringes in the proper disposal located at the medical tent (see public map for exact location). Please do not dispose of these items in other trash bins at the festival.

Can I bring my medications?


Yes, medications are allowed into the festival as long as they comply with the following:

No over-the-counter medication is permitted unless in unopened, factory-sealed packaging.

No vitamins or supplements of any kind are permitted.

Prescription Medication can only be brought into the festival ground with the following:

  • A valid photo ID (See list of acceptable forms of identification)
  • Medication must be in original prescription bottle, in-date, legible, with name corresponding to photo ID
  • Only one type of medication per bottle (matching the description printed on bottle)
  • Any prescription controlled substances may only be brought in quantities reasonable for your time at the festival.

Will there be free water?


Yes, NDMF will be partnering with Event Water Solutions to provide filling stations with an unlimited amount of FREE water throughout the fest. EWS connects to existing municipal water sources, triple filtering and UV treating it to provide clean cold water to festival goers. High flow taps allow for filling in under 5 seconds, keeping lines short.

We encourage you to bring reusable water bottles or camelbacks, just be sure to have them empty upon entry.

Will there be a lost and found?


Lost and Found will be located at the Info Booth on the festival grounds at E. Mills Ave and N. Campbell Street. and will be operational throughout the duration of the event. Lost and Found inquiries after the conclusion of the event can be directed here.
